After being recommended to me by several people, I finally took the time to give this show some attention. and I'm glad I did. 

Micheal, in light of his brother Lincon Burrows being sentenced to death row following a Political conspiracy, get himself imprisoned at a super-max penitentiary. With the escape plan tattooed onto his body and with the help of other inmates, the escape attempt beings. over the five seasons, the audience sees the characters build and break trust and relationships, work through hardships and attempts on their lives and work to prove themselves innocent. 

The series places a strong focus on individual character development of each con. Diving deep into each persona's history and how they landed themselves locked up in Fox River State Penitentiary. In result, the audience forms strong bonds with each main character and slowly falls into the shows enthralling nature. every episode leaves you wondering and wanting more.
